Dr. Mandar V. Bichu – Our editor/web-master and main content provider is a paediatrician currently practicing in Dr.Mandar Clinic situated in NBAD building on Rolla Bank Street, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He has completed his medical graduation and post-graduation (MBBS, DCH and MD) from Sion’s Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Mumbai University. Before starting his private practice in 1999, he worked from 1993-1999 as a senior paediatrician in UAE Ministry Of Health’s Kuwaiti Hospital in Sharjah. He is also a leading journalist writing for major publications in UAE and has authored three books on music and medicine. He also edits and manages another popular web-site Cinemasangeet.Com.

Dr. Shubhada M.Bichu – is a senior specialist dermatologist working in UAE Ministry Of Health’s Al Qasimi Hospital, Sharjah since 1997. She has completed her medical graduation and post-graduation (MBBS, DDV and MD) from Lokmanya Tilak and Topiwala Nair Medical Colleges in Mumbai University. Over the last decade, she has been the In-Charge of the deramtology training programme for UAE national interns and Family Medicine graduates in Al Qassimi Hospital of Ministry Of Health. She is actively involved in the hospital's Continuing Medical Education programme .

Dr.Sanjay Kalvani – is a senior dental, oral and maxillo-facial surgeon currently practicing in Al Saha Clinic, situated in NBAD building on Rolla Bank Street, Sharjah, UAE since 1994. He was formerly a staff member in ABSM Institute of dental sciences in India. Apart from his vast clinical and academic experience and expertise, he has presented a lot of scientific papers and has held various positions in Indian Dental Association. Paediatric dentistry happens to be his special passion.

Dr. Minal Patwardhan- is a senior dermatologist, cosmetologist and laser- treatment expert currently practicing in Dr.Minal Clinic, situated in Crystal Plaza building on Buhaira Corniche, Sharjah, UAE. She has completed her medical graduation and post-graduation (MBBS, DVD and MD) from LTMGH, Sion, Mumbai University. She has been practicing in UAE since 1993 and has been the pioneer of Laser skin treatment in the region. She has received her training on Lasers in Autralia and USA. Despite her busy schedule, she regularly contributes columns in various publications and also has to credit, several research papers in various international conferences.

Dr.Maneesha Phadke- is currently working as School Health Medical Officer in Dubai. After passing her MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal in 1990, she acquired advanced diplomas in Hospital Management, Naturopathy, Aroma Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics. She has handled various clinical positions in different medical institutes and she has been actively involved in popular health education through TV, radio and print media.

Dr. Pankaj Shrivastav – is one of the pioneers in fertility treatment in the UAE. He was involved in the establishment of Dubai’s prestigious Rashid Hospital Fertility Centre. He was trained in UK and has introduced in Dubai many advanced techniques in assisted reproduction. Currently he is practicing in Conceive- The Gyanecology and Fertility Centre, a state of the art facility situated on Dubai-Sharjah highway.

Here are the veterans who are guiding and supervising this project. Without their blessings and advice, this project would have remained incomplete.

Dr. M.R. Lokeshwar- is a Consultant Pediatric Hematologist and Visiting Pediatrician P.D. Hinduja National hospital and Research Centre and practices in his clinic in Imperial Mahal building, 3rd Floor, Dadar TT, Mumbai. He has held various important positions in Indian Academy of Paediatrics- including its President’s post in 1998. Earlier he was the Prof. of Pediatrics and Hon. Pediatrician and Chief of Hematology-Oncology Division, Dept. of Pediatrics at Sion’s L.T.M.G Hospital where he initiated and established Hematology Division,Thalassemia research centre and Thalassemia outdoor transfusion centre. He has held various important posts in different scientific and medical bodies and has been on the advisory and editorial panel of many important journals.
